What Kaizen Timer doesn't do
- No analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
- No crash reporters (no Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
- No ads or ad identifiers
- No user account system
- No cloud sync of settings, stats, or PIN
- No sharing of data with any third party
What stays on your device
- Your PIN (stored in encrypted SharedPreferences)
- Your recent presets
- Usage stats (sessions, total time)
- Timer state (for resuming after reboot)
What leaves your device
Only one thing: a single API call to verify your Pro license when you first activate Pro. This goes to our licensing endpoint (azfnlic.azurewebsites.net) and contains:
- A hashed device ID (SHA-256 of Android ID)
- Device model and Android version (for support purposes)
- Your license token from Google Play
Nothing about your child, your timer usage, or your PIN is ever sent anywhere.
