How they appear
Three preset cards appear above the time pickers on the home screen. Each shows:
- Duration (e.g. “15m”, “1h 30m”)
- A small speaker icon indicating whether mute-on-timeout is on
How they're populated
Kaizen Timer automatically saves your most recent timer setups. Each time you start a timer with different values, it becomes the newest preset; older presets shift down. After 3 unique configurations, the oldest is replaced.
Using a preset
Tap a preset. The pickers and mute toggle update to match. Tap START SCREEN TIME to run.
Can I pin a preset so it's never overwritten?
Not currently. If you commonly use the same 3 configurations, they'll stay in the list naturally.
Typical preset sets
- 15m (with mute), 30m (with mute), 1h
- 9m (Free tier max), 5m, 3m
- 10m (homework break), 20m (reading), 45m (game session)
Clearing presets
Reinstall the app from Play Store. Presets, usage stats, and custom PIN all reset to defaults.
