What's tracked
Three simple metrics:
- Sessions this week — count of timers started since Monday 00:00
- Total sessions — lifetime count since install
- Total time — total minutes across all sessions

A small stats card on the home screen, below the presets. Always visible.
Why so minimal?
Kaizen Timer is intentionally simple. We resisted adding complex dashboards, graphs, “screen time trends”, or export features. The app has one job — lock the phone when time runs out — and the stats just give you a high-level sense of usage without becoming a distraction themselves.
Data location
Stats live in Android's SharedPreferences on the device. Nothing is ever uploaded. No cloud sync, no account, no analytics pipeline. If you uninstall, stats are lost — there's no backup/restore because there's no cloud in the loop.
Can I see per-day / per-month stats?
Not today. If this matters, let us know — we've deliberately kept it lean but are open to Pro additions.
