System requirements
- Windows 10 (1809+) or Windows 11, 64-bit
- .NET 8 desktop runtime (bundled)
- 4 GB RAM, 500 MB disk
- Internet connection (Azure Speech Service is cloud-based)
- Speakers or headphones for audio preview
- Microphone for live transcription (optional)
Download and install
- Head to the download page and click Download Speech Studio.
- Run
KaizenSpeechStudioSetup.exe. Accept the UAC prompt. - Click through the wizard. Default install location is
C:\Program Files\Kaizen Speech Studio. - Launch from the Start menu.
First launch
On first launch, Speech Studio opens the Text-to-Speech tab. You can generate up to 9 hours of audio per month using our shared Azure Speech tier on the Free plan — no setup required. For more, add your own Azure key (see the Azure setup guide).
