Type any password or code
into any app.

TypeGuard types long passwords, one-time codes and license keys as real keystrokes — so they land even in fields that block paste: remote desktop, VM consoles, installers, kiosks and games. Stored in a locally encrypted vault. Free, offline, no account.

What it does

One job, done right: getting your text in.

No clipboard juggling, no retyping a 40-character key by hand, no fighting fields that refuse to paste. Enter it once, click Type It, and TypeGuard does the rest.

Quick TypeIt

Single-line and multi-line boxes for the text you reach for most — passwords, OTP codes, license keys, wallet seeds, addresses. Enter it, hit Type It, done.

Types where paste fails

Real keystrokes via the Windows SendInput API, character by character — so remote-desktop, VM consoles, installers, kiosks and games all accept it just like manual typing.

Encrypted local vault

Your entries live in a PIN-protected vault on your PC, with the key derived via PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations, SHA-256). Nothing syncs to a cloud — ever.

Hidden by default

Text is masked the moment you type it, so it stays safe from shoulder-surfers. Tap Show to verify exactly what you entered before it goes out.

Countdown & cancel

A 3–10 second countdown (with a toast near the tray) gives you time to click into the target window. Wrong window? Cancel instantly before a single key is sent.

Adjustable typing speed

Set the per-character delay from 10 to 200 ms. Slow it down for laggy remote sessions and stubborn fields; speed it up to fly through everyday apps.

Out of your way

The main window minimizes automatically the moment typing starts, then restores when it's finished — so it never sits on top of the field it's filling.

Always one click away

Closing the window tucks it into the system tray with quick right-click actions, and you can launch it silently on Windows startup so it's ready when you are.

Explorer right-click

Add a “Launch KaizenTypeGuard” entry to the Explorer menu for files, folders and the folder background — open it from anywhere without hunting for the icon.

Private & signed

No account, no telemetry, nothing leaves your machine. The installer is code-signed under StepForward Solutions and runs as the current user — install with confidence.

Ctrl+V doesn't work here

The fields that refuse your clipboard? Filled.

Some boxes simply ignore pasted input — or can't read the clipboard at all. TypeGuard sidesteps the clipboard entirely and sends genuine keystrokes, so the text arrives exactly as if you'd typed it.

1

Enter your text

Paste or type a password, code or key into the single- or multi-line box. It's masked instantly.

2

Click Type It

A short countdown starts and a toast appears near the tray so you know exactly what's happening.

3

Focus the target window

Click into the login field, installer prompt or remote session you want the text to land in.

4

It types itself

At zero, TypeGuard sends real keystrokes at your chosen speed — Enter and Tab included.

Built privacy-first

Your secrets never leave your PC

A password tool you can't fully trust isn't worth using. TypeGuard keeps everything local by design — no servers to breach, nothing to subscribe to.

100% offline

No cloud sync, no account, no network calls for the text you type. It works on a plane or an air-gapped machine.

Encrypted at rest

The local vault is encrypted with a key derived from your PIN using PBKDF2 — 100,000 iterations, SHA-256.

No telemetry

Nothing is tracked or collected. The app runs as the current user with only standard Windows input APIs.

Code-signed

The installer is signed under StepForward Solutions via Azure Trusted Signing, so you know it's genuine.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Kaizen TypeGuard really free?
Yes. TypeGuard is free to download and use, with 25 free Quick TypeIt uses to start — plenty to see how it fits your workflow. The encrypted vault, show/hide masking, adjustable speed, tray access and Explorer integration are all included. Want unlimited Quick TypeIt? Premium is a one-time $15 lifetime payment — no subscription.
Why type character-by-character instead of pasting?
Many fields reject pasted input or can't see the clipboard at all — remote-desktop sessions, virtual-machine and hypervisor consoles, kiosks, BIOS-style installers and games. TypeGuard simulates real keystrokes through the Windows SendInput API, so those fields receive the text exactly as if you typed it by hand (Enter and Tab included).
Where are my passwords stored? Is anything uploaded?
Everything stays on your PC. The vault is stored locally and encrypted, with the key derived from your PIN using PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations, SHA-256). There is no cloud sync, no account and no telemetry — nothing you type ever leaves your machine.
How does the countdown work?
When you click Type It, a short countdown (3–10 seconds, default 5) gives you time to click into the target window. A small toast appears near the tray. When it reaches zero the text types itself — and you can cancel any time by closing the toast or the window before a key is sent.
Some fields drop fast keystrokes. Can I slow it down?
Yes. The delay between characters is adjustable from 10 to 200 ms (default 40). Slower settings are reliable for stubborn fields and laggy remote-desktop sessions; faster settings fly through normal apps.
Can I launch it from anywhere and keep it out of the way?
Yes. Closing the window minimizes it to the system tray, where a right-click gives quick actions. Enable Launch on Startup to have it ready silently after login, and add a “Launch KaizenTypeGuard” entry to the Explorer right-click menu for files, folders and the folder background. On Windows 11, that entry lives under “Show more options”.
Is the download safe, and what do I need to run it?
It's a small, focused .NET 8 app for Windows 10 or 11, with no account and no background services beyond the optional tray icon. The installer is code-signed (Azure Trusted Signing under StepForward Solutions). If your browser or antivirus flags a fresh installer it's the usual new-signature warning — and support is an email away at [email protected].
