How to Install Auto Mouse Click¶
Auto Mouse Click is quick to install and runs on nearly any Windows PC. You can choose between a standard installer or a portable version that requires no installation at all. The entire process takes less than 2 minutes.

No Admin Rights Needed
Unlike many automation tools, Auto Mouse Click does not require administrator privileges to install or run. You can use it on computers where you do not have admin access, such as work or school PCs.
Option A: Standard Installer¶
Step 1: Download the Installer¶
- Visit the official download page at kaizen-apps.com/auto-mouse-click.html.
- Click the Download Free button.
- Save the file
AutoMouseClickInstaller.exeto your computer.
Step 2: Run the Setup¶
- Locate the downloaded
AutoMouseClickInstaller.exefile. - Double-click the file to launch the installer.
- If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info and then Run anyway.
- Click Next to proceed through the setup wizard.
Step 3: Choose Installation Location¶
- The default installation folder is
C:\Program Files\Auto Mouse Click(orC:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Local\Auto Mouse Clickif installed without admin rights). - Change the location by clicking Browse if desired.
- Click Install to begin.
- Wait for the installation to complete (typically a few seconds).
Step 4: Launch the Application¶
- Check the Launch Auto Mouse Click checkbox.
- Click Finish.
- The application opens and is ready to use immediately.
You can also launch Auto Mouse Click from:
- The desktop shortcut (if created during installation)
- The Start menu under "Auto Mouse Click"
- The system tray icon (if minimized)
Installation Complete
Auto Mouse Click is installed and ready to use. Jump to First Automation to set up your first automated clicking sequence.
Option B: Portable Version (No Installation)¶
The portable version runs directly from a folder without any installation. This is ideal for USB drives, shared computers, or situations where you cannot install software.
Step 1: Download the Portable ZIP¶
- Visit kaizen-apps.com/auto-mouse-click.html.
- Click Download Portable (or look for the ZIP download option).
- Save the
AutoMouseClick-Portable.zipfile.
Step 2: Extract and Run¶
- Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All.
- Choose a destination folder (your Desktop, a USB drive, or any folder you prefer).
- Open the extracted folder.
- Double-click
AutoMouseClick.exeto launch the application.
Portable Version Benefits
- No installation required -- just extract and run.
- Carry it on a USB drive and use it on any Windows PC.
- No registry entries or system changes are made.
- All settings are saved in the same folder as the executable.
What Gets Installed (Standard Version)¶
The standard installer creates the following:
- Auto Mouse Click application -- The main program
- Desktop shortcut (optional, selected during installation)
- Start menu entry -- For quick access
- Uninstaller -- Available from Windows Settings > Apps
No background services, browser extensions, or additional runtimes are installed. Auto Mouse Click is a single self-contained application.
Verifying the Installation¶
After launching, you should see the Auto Mouse Click main window with:
- Click settings panel (click type, interval, coordinates)
- Mouse movement options
- Start / Stop buttons
- Hotkey configuration area
If the main window loads without errors, the installation was successful.
Updating Auto Mouse Click¶
Standard Version¶
- Download the latest installer from kaizen-apps.com/auto-mouse-click.html.
- Run the installer. It will automatically update the existing installation.
- Your settings and license are preserved.
Portable Version¶
- Download the latest portable ZIP.
- Extract it to a new folder.
- Copy your old
settings.jsonfile (if any) from the previous folder to the new one.
Uninstalling Auto Mouse Click¶
Standard Version¶
- Open Windows Settings > Apps.
- Find Auto Mouse Click in the list.
- Click Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts to remove the application.
No admin password is required to uninstall (unlike Kaizen Focus).
Portable Version¶
Simply delete the folder containing the portable files. No cleanup is needed.
Troubleshooting¶

| Application does not start | Ensure .NET Framework 4.5 or later is installed (included in Windows 10/11) |
| Antivirus blocks the application | Add an exception for Auto Mouse Click. Automation tools are sometimes flagged as false positives |
