Activate Your Speech Studio License

After purchasing Speech Studio, you will receive a license key by email. Follow these steps to activate it and unlock all features.

Where to Find Your License Key

Your license key is sent to the email address you used during purchase. Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from Kaizen Apps containing your unique key. The key is a string of characters in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Activation Steps

  1. Open Speech Studio and go to Settings or click the Activate button in the toolbar.
  2. Enter your license key in the activation dialog box.
  3. Click Activate -- The app will verify your key online. This requires an active internet connection.
  4. Confirmation -- You will see a success message once activation is complete. All Pro features are now unlocked.

Internet Required

License activation requires a one-time internet connection to verify your key with the Kaizen Apps license server. After activation, the license status is stored locally.

Azure Keys

Speech Studio uses Azure Cognitive Services for voice synthesis. With your license, you receive Azure API keys that are preconfigured in the application. You do not need to create your own Azure account or manage API keys manually.

Key Management

Your Azure keys are included with your license and are managed automatically by Speech Studio. If you encounter any issues with voice generation, check that your license is active and your internet connection is stable.

Activation Limits

Each license key can be activated on a limited number of devices. If you need to transfer your license to a new computer:

  1. Deactivate the license on your old machine via Settings > Deactivate License
  2. Activate on your new machine using the same key

Troubleshooting Activation

  • Invalid key error -- Double-check that you copied the key correctly with no extra spaces
  • Already activated -- Deactivate on the other device first, or contact support for assistance
  • Network error -- Ensure your firewall or antivirus is not blocking the connection
