Activate Your OCR & PDF Tools License¶
After purchasing OCR & PDF Tools, you will receive a license key by email. Activation unlocks all Pro features and removes any trial limitations.
Where to Find Your License Key¶
Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder) for a message from Kaizen Apps containing your license key. The key follows the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Activation Steps¶
- Open OCR & PDF Tools and navigate to Settings > License or click the Activate button in the toolbar.
- Enter your license key -- Paste or type the key into the input field.
- Click Activate -- The app connects to the Kaizen Apps license server to verify your key.
- Confirmation -- A success message confirms activation. All features are now unlocked.
Internet Required for Activation Only
An internet connection is needed only during the activation process. After activation, OCR & PDF Tools works entirely offline. Your license status is stored locally on your machine.

Transferring Your License¶
To move your license to a different computer:
- On your current machine, go to Settings > License > Deactivate
- On your new machine, install OCR & PDF Tools and enter your license key
Troubleshooting Activation¶
- Invalid key -- Verify the key is correct with no extra spaces. Copy and paste directly from your email.
- Already in use -- Deactivate on the other device first, or contact support if you no longer have access to that machine.
- Connection error -- Check your internet connection and ensure your firewall is not blocking the app.
