Usage Reports¶
Usage reports show you exactly how you spend your time on the computer. Track which applications you use, how long you use them, and which websites you visit to identify patterns and improve your productivity.
Viewing Reports¶
Click the Focus tray icon and select Reports, or open Focus settings and navigate to Productivity > Reports.
Report Types¶
Daily Summary¶
A breakdown of your computer usage for a single day:
- Total active time -- How long the computer was actively used
- App usage -- Time spent in each application, ranked by duration
- Website visits -- Sites visited and time spent on each
- Limit usage -- How much of each app limit was consumed

Weekly Overview¶
A higher-level view showing trends across the week:
- Daily totals compared side by side
- Most-used applications over the week
- Peak usage hours
- Average daily screen time
Monthly Trends¶
Long-term patterns over 30 days:
- Screen time trends (increasing, decreasing, or stable)
- Top applications and websites
- Days with the highest and lowest usage
Understanding the Data¶
App Usage Breakdown¶
Each tracked application shows:

| Total time | Cumulative active time for the day/period |
| Sessions | Number of times the app was opened |
| Average session | Average duration per session |
| % of total | Percentage of total screen time |
Website Activity¶
Website tracking shows domains visited and approximate time on each. This data comes from browser activity monitoring.
Privacy
All usage data is stored locally on your computer. It is not sent to any external server. Only you can see your productivity reports.
Exporting Reports¶
Export your reports for record-keeping or analysis:
- Open the report you want to export
- Click Export
- Choose the format: PDF, CSV, or HTML
- Save to your preferred location
CSV exports are useful for importing into spreadsheet applications for further analysis.
Using Reports to Improve¶
Actionable Insights
Review your weekly report every Sunday evening. Identify the applications and websites where you spent the most unproductive time, then adjust your block lists and time limits accordingly for the coming week.
