Kid Profiles¶
Kid profiles let you create personalized settings for each child who uses the computer. Each profile has its own set of restrictions, time limits, and content filters tailored to the child's age and needs.
Creating a Kid Profile¶
- Open Focus settings with the admin password.
- Navigate to Parental > Kid Profiles.
- Click Add Profile.
- Enter the profile details:
- Name -- Your child's name
- Age -- Used to suggest age-appropriate default settings
- Avatar -- Choose a fun icon for the profile (optional)
- Windows account -- Link to a Windows user account if the child has their own login
- Click Create.

When you enter the child's age, Focus suggests default settings:

| 7-12 | Moderate filtering, 2 hours daily limit, age-appropriate sites |
| 13-17 | Light filtering, 3 hours daily limit, social media limited |
