Setup Wizard¶
The Setup Wizard runs automatically after installation and guides you through the initial configuration of Focus. It takes just a few minutes to get everything set up.
Step 1: Choose Your Mode¶
The first screen asks you to select your primary mode:
- Productivity Mode -- Manage your own screen time and block distractions
- Employee Mode -- Monitor and manage employee computer usage
- Parental Mode -- Set restrictions and safe browsing rules for children

Select the mode that best fits your needs and click Next.
Switching Modes
You can change modes later from Settings > Mode. Switching requires the admin password to prevent unauthorized changes.

Start Simple
You do not need to configure everything during setup. Start with a few basic rules and add more as you learn how the app works. You can always adjust settings later.
