Dashboard Overview¶
The Kaizen OCR Dashboard is your central hub for accessing all features. When you launch the application, you are greeted with the main dashboard showing all available tools as clickable tiles.
Available Features¶
From the dashboard, you can access the following tools:

| Advanced OCR | Full-control OCR with preprocessing tools for complex documents |
| Convert Documents | Convert between PDF, DOCX, RTF, HTML, EPUB, and image formats |
| Crop / Deskew / Rotate | Auto-fix tilted images and remove borders before OCR |
| Extract Images from PDF | Pull all embedded images from PDF files |
| PDF Add Password | Protect PDFs with password encryption |
| PDF Remove Password | Unlock password-protected PDFs |
How to Navigate¶
- Click any tile on the dashboard to open that feature
- Use the back button within any feature to return to the dashboard
- Screenshots and files can be dragged and dropped directly into most features
Tip
Start with Easy OCR for quick text extraction. Use Advanced OCR when you need more control over preprocessing and accuracy settings.
