PDF Remove Password

The Remove Password feature helps you unlock password-protected PDF files for easier access and sharing. Simply add your protected PDF, enter the correct password, and click Start to remove the password instantly.

You can save unlocked PDFs to a selected folder for quick use. This feature makes it simple to manage secured documents when you no longer need password protection.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open PDF Remove Password

From the Kaizen OCR dashboard, click on the PDF Remove Password tile.

Step 2: Add Your Protected PDF

Click the file browser button or drag & drop your password-protected PDF file into the application.

Step 3: Select Your PDF

Choose the password-protected PDF file you want to unlock.

Step 4: Enter Password and Configure Settings

Enter the current password for the PDF and select the output folder for the unlocked file.

Step 5: Start Password Removal

Click the Start button to remove the password protection.

Step 6: Confirmation

The unlocked PDF will be saved to your specified folder. A confirmation message will indicate the password has been successfully removed.

Note

You must know the correct password to remove it. This feature cannot bypass or crack unknown passwords -- it simply removes the protection from files you have authorized access to.
